Female Country Mix CD

Sometimes you just need the soothing sounds of a female country singer to make everything alright. And no, I'm not talking about Taylor Swift here. As much as I like her music, compared to these country queens, she doesn't stand a chance. I have almost 100 albums of country music on my computer, so this was a difficult choice. However, this is a mix CD I've created to recognize some of the finest voices (and stories) the music industry has ever offered. Get ready to cry, laugh and sing along.
Funny Face - Donna Fargo

Jolene - Dolly Parton

You Can't Lose Me - Faith Hill

Whatever You Say - Martina McBride

Mi Vida Loca - Pam Tillis

Something in Red - Lorrie Morgan

Golden Ring - Tammy Wynette & George Jones

A Broken Wing - Martina McBride

Hello Mr. Heartache - Dixie Chicks

Strawberry Wine - Deana Carter

I Just Wanna Be Mad - Terri Clark

No One Else on Earth - Wynonna Judd

She's Got You - Patsy Cline

What if it's You - Reba McEntire

She's in Love With the Boy - Trisha Yearwood

Coal Miner's Daughter - Loretta Lynn

And check it out! You can listen to this SAME playlist I created HERE !

i love country music, probably more so the guys than the girls, but these women are great! (taylor swift sucks live-really sounds like she's tone deaf or monotone-and she can only sing with the help of autotune) she's not country to me, she should have done pop. at least in that genre autotune is used more frequently so she'll be right at home.

i'm glad you like the classics, but have a respect for the country classics as well. i think too many people go one way or the other, when both need recognition.

i still absolutely love your blog.

sorry. i meant classics as in rock classics. most people are either rock or country. that's why i love that you love them both.
