Hans Zimmer's "Aurora"

In the days following the tragedy at The Dark Knight Rises showing in Aurora, Colorado, composer Hans Zimmer turned to music. His score played in the film during the tragedy; and he later used his music to cope: by composing a new song. The song is now released, and can be purchased on iTunes. The proceeds from the song go directly to the Aurora Victim Relief organization. The money will help victims and their families.

The old saying goes, "when words fail, music speaks." This tragedy left so many people speechless and scared, and it's an act that will never be forgotten. But we have music to help us cope. That's the beauty of music: it's there for people even in the darkest of times.

This is a very good post Jess, it really shows that no matter what something will be there for you to take your mind off of things. It is very, very awesome. I like it a lot.
